Deposits , Pre Payments and Cancellation policies
Prices quoted on this web-site cover accommodation, airport transfer on arrival and VAT at the current rate.
Payment for the ACCOMMODATION package is made to the booking agent, MHCS Limited via this web-site. For charges raised during the period of residency and usually referred to as ‘extras’ (laundry, telephone bills, additional nights Accommodation or other such as incidental charges,) payment should be made directly to the Accommodation Provider normally on checking out of the accommodation unit.
Subject to the Accommodation Providers booking conditions all bookings made more than 45 days in advance of the booking date, require a 25% deposit as confirmation which can be claimed back if the client decides to cancel the booking within 2 weeks. Thereafter the deposit becomes non refunadable. The remaining balance will be required no later then 45 days in advance of the booking date.
For bookings made within 45 days of the travel date, full payment is due with the confirmation of the booking.
Note 1 : In the case of advance bookings ( point 1 above ), a reminder will be sent to the client one week prior the scheduled date of payment being 45 days in advance of the arrival date. Should payment not be received within 2 weeks after that, a further reminder will be sent and one week later, unless payment is received, the booking will be automatically cancelled and the initial deposit retained by MHCS Ltd.
Note 2 : In the case of cancellation of a booking within 15 days of the scheduled date of arrival a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of one weeks booking is levied. In this case the client authorizes MHCS Ltd to debit the credit card with the balance between the deposit paid and the 50% cancellation fee. The same procedure will apply in the case of a client not showing up to take the accommodation booked ; in such a case the Cancellation fee will be 100% of one weeks stay from which the deposit will be first deducted.
Cancellations must be made via fax on 0035621802672 or by e-mail to info@wardijavillagemalta.com by the person who registered the booking. The e-mail must contain the booking reference together with the accommodation information. Cancellation requests are effective from the time they are received by us (not the time and date when the client sent the cancellation request).
Should the booking be cancelled within 15 days prior arrival the client will forfeit 50% of the cost for the first week of the accommodation booked. .
If the arrival date is delayed for any reason, the client must advise info@wardijavillagemalta.com at the earliest opportunity. The Accommodation Provider will do its best to accommodate the client on new dates but if circumstances do not allow, the days lost will be treated as a cancellation. If you do not advise the Accommodation Provider or us directly prior to your arrival date and you don’t show up, then your entire booking will be cancelled and any pre payments forfeited.
No refunds will be given for stays that are ended earlier than planned (unless due to the Accommodation being unsafe or unfit for purpose).
Our Responsibility To You
2.1 MHCS Limited acts as booking agent only. We can only accept the responsibility for any injury, illness or death, if caused by our own negligence and liability in respect of statutory rights you may have against us as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Any claims arising out of your stay in the accommodation must be brought against the Accommodation Provider. Any claim you make is likely to be subject to the law of the country in which the accommodation is situated.
2.2 We have a duty to select the Accommodation Providers using reasonable care and skill. We have no liability to you for the actual provision of the accommodation, except in cases where it is proved that we have breached that duty you have suffered damage as a result. MHCS Limited and any of our group companies, officers and employees exclude all liability for all loss and damage that you may incur (including direct, indirect, consequential loss or damages, loss income, profits or opportunity) in connection with the accommodation and/or your booking and/or your use of the Website.
2.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations and warranties relating to the accommodation which is the subject of your booking.
2.4 We cannot accept responsibility for any damage, loss, delay, or inconvenience cause by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances include but are not limited to War, threat of war, riots, civil strife, or terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, airport closures, bad weather conditions, interruption or failure of a utility service or the acts of any local or national government.
2.5 MHCS reserves the right to change these conditions at any time.
